4 great wines available from Sileni Estates/Redmetal Vineyards – you get fantastic wines at unbeatable prices and we get $40.00 (incl GST) per case donated back to the club. Wine can be purchased by the bottle or case. To order contact Kelly before Monday 6 September at itsallboutme@gmail.com or 0274 274 164.

REDMETAL – Paint the Town White 2006* – $10.00 per bottle (RRP $18.95)
From our neighbouring vineyard comes an extremely quaffable blended white wine. 62% Semillon and 38% Sauvignon Blanc, made in the classic style of dry white Bordeaux. Excellent lightly chilled as an aperitif, try it with seafood, poultry, cheese or simply enjoy by itself.
April 2010 ”Have just tasted this wine it’s drinking fantastically!! Fresh pineapple, dried herbs and a great finish. Mouthwatering. Enjoy!!”

SILENI – CS Riesling 2007* – $11.00 per bottle (RRP $18.95)

The Sileni Cellar Selection Riesling has typically aromatic citrus/lime flavours in a fresh style with a finish that is just off dry. It is beginning to develop some wonderfully aromatic characters from bottle maturation and is drinking superbly right now developing a toasty complexity.
Awards:
Top 10 Rating & Gold Medal – 2007 Canberra
International Riesling Challenge (Australia)
Silver Medal – Royal Easter Wine Show

REDMETAL – Merlot Franc 2008* $15.00 per bottle (RRP $19.95)
From our Chief Winemaker, Grant Edmond’s, vineyard comes a fantastic wine for the winter season. Warm & mouth-filling 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc to add spice, colour and structure. Black plum and red berry flavours are supported by gentle oak and soft tannins to give a long and balanced finish. Excellent food-friendly style and great current drinking or cellar for up to 3 or 4 years if you have the will power!

TAHUNA – Merlot 2007* – $13.00 per bottle (RRP $18.95)
Great colour and aromas of plum and dark berryfruit, typical of Hawke’s Bay Merlot. Silky tannins give it a soft finish with good depth of fruit. Fantastic with hearty pastas, beef and New Zealand lamb.
